Now that we’ve introduced the philosophy behind speculative decoding, let’s focus our attention on the main algorithms which have been proposed in practice. We’ll study each approach in chronological order to observe how an algorithm family builds upon previous solutions. We’ll also provide some insights into production usage of each algorithm, and whether they are still relevant today.
